The jacket heating dryer is an indirect continuous high-temperature heating equipment (also known as a roasting kiln), which is generally divided into electric heating roasting kilns and gas-fired roasting kilns according to different heat sources. During operation, materials are fed into the kiln through the kiln head, and the heating furnace is equipped with electric heating elements or fuel burners. The furnace temperature is controlled by an automatic control system, allowing the materials to be roasted at a certain temperature. The material is roasted inside the kiln and "crawls" forward with the rotation of the kiln until it is discharged from the discharge end of the kiln. The roasting time of materials can be controlled by the rotational speed and kiln angle.
